Chamber
The Winnetka Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1923, is organized to:
- Advance the economic health and welfare of its community
- Provide cooperation among businesses to express their interests
- Support a favorable business climate in Winnetka.
The Chamber is an association of businesses, services, government agencies, schools, churches, social services and other organizations.
Its leadership is comprised of a Board of Directors, Legal Advisor, Village Council Liaison, and an Executive Director.
Members are Board approved, but not restricted to having a Winnetka business location. Annual membership dues support collective marketing opportunities such as:
- community events
- programs
- networking meetings
- publicity
- an active website.
The Winnetka Chamber of Commerce works to fulfill its mission by coordinating efforts of its members with the Village government and community residents. The Chamber also serves as a member of the Village of Winnetka Business Community Development Commission.
